Poor quality of SPA8000

I’ve just bought SPA8000 for my customer. And I am surprised with the noisy, created by fan of this device. None of fans in any server, switch or other devices I am working with is so loud. It is crazy, somebody has accepted such construction. Another question is, why, the hell, there is no option to switch off NAT in LAN status and change it to work in “bridge” mode. Some new idea of building nets in Cisco? Each device has to build its own net???

You have right. There is no way to disable NAT. It's used internally to handle FXS interfaces.

I've replaced some SPA8000 with Innovaphone IP28 devices. It's compact and no fan but there is only one Fastethernet interface.
