SPA112 Won't Boot, appears to reboot endlessly

Hi,

I have an SPA112.  I just dug it out of storage and plugged it in.  I did a factory reset (pressed reset for 20 seconds).  Now when it powers on I get power LED flashing for a while, then solid and network light comes on and flashes.  then the power light goes out and the process starts over again.

I have a second SPA112.  I have used all the same plugs, power, phone and network and it boots fine.

Is my SPA112 a brick now?

Thanks,

Sean

It may or may not be bricked. Analysis requires advanced networking skills. You need to catch all packets sent by device during the cycle. It may disclose the current state of the device, so we can advise further steps to repair (if possible at all). Ask your network administrator for help with packet capturing .

Hi Sean,

I think you are referring system LED in this case. Please refer the quick start guide, from the LED status sequence you have mentioned it seems that the SPA device is rebooting as soon as it acquired the IP address and data transmission started.

As the other SPA112 is working fine using the same power source so it may not be the issue with power source.

You may open a service request with us to investigate further on this issue following the below mentioned link…
