SPA232D firmware update

Hello,

My SPA203D currently is on firmware 1.2.0. When I go onto the web gui firmwar eupdate site the "browse" button is greyed out. Clicking F5 for site refresh shows the button clickable for a brief moment but one has to be quick to click it. I select the file but then the "Upgrade" button is not clickable either. Is this a bug?

This is the file I am trying:  Firmware for SPA232D SPA302D, Version 1.3.2-014

Hi Stefan,

It could be that you're connected to the WAN port and have not authorized upgrades via the WAN port. Connect to the LAN port and try again.

It could be a browser issue, but I doubt it. Try with IE. I recall an issue with the SPA1xx on their early firmware where only IE was able to browse for a firmware file.

Thanks Patrick. Now, is there a ssh/telnet login available to edit the conf files?

Stefan,

No ssh/telnet access is available on this device. The way to change the configuration is to either:

  • use the web-user interface: http://ipAddressOfATA
  • or have the ATA retrieve the configuration as part of provisioning. This is described in the provisioning guide linked from
