spa232d trouble after powercut

Hi,

I have just purchased a SPA232d, I had it set up and working fine.

We had a powercut at the weekend and now it's restarted I no longer have a functioning FXS port.

I have reset phone settings to default - FXS phone = no ring tone

If I turn it off, it goes into back up mode - FXS phone = with ring tone

If I connect without the SPA232d I have a ring tone

If I use a connected DECT phone using the PSTN line = with ring tone

I think it's become faulty after the power cut.  Is there anything else I could check before sending it back?

Powercuts are often preceded, or followed, by voltage spikes. Your device may be damaged.

Reset device to factory default, then configure it the exactly same way as it has been configured before power cut. Unless it will not restore pre-cut behavior, then it's broken.

You may turn on syslog&debug messages, it may reveal some more details of the issue, but you should not expect it will help you to repair the broken device.
