SPA8800, PSTN and Asterisk

Hello,All,

I am having echo difficulties with my new SPA8800 setup.  We are using an Asterisk 1.4 server and Freepbx.  So far everything works well.

However, when I call the office using my cell the receptionist reports a very distinct echo of her voice.  This is on all calls from the pstn.

The echo is intermittent but noticeable.  For the most part, the SPA8800 is set to factory defaults.  We have changed only ip address and line dial plan areas.
When the receptionistspeaks slightly lower than normal the echo disappears. Any ideas on what parameters might resolve the echo issue:
