We are using SPA112 on the vessel in order to connect IP telephone to satellite communication services. Terminal equipments are certified by satellite provider.
Terminal equipments are just provide LAN network to SPA112.
We are facing a following problem:
When receiving a phone call from the land office, transfer to extension phone (#0501, #0301, #0506, #0504) via VoIP adaptor is frequently fail.
Failure rate is deend on the service provider of the phone call, like
mobile phone 50% fail
office fixed phone 70% fail
inmarsat phone 0% fail
We want to know why this issue is occur.
We also asking manufacture of the terminal, but they insist their products have no issue.

Unfortunately, so many possible causes here to fire blind guess.
It shall be noted that SPA112 do no transfer. It just send transfer request to upstream. Such request may be lost in transmit or it may be rejected (for a reason) by upstream PBX.
The probability something gets wrong at SPA112 level is lower than probability something gets wrong on the PBX the SPA112 is connected to. Ask PBX administrator for help if you wish for most effective way to analyze the issue.
OK. What you can done by self ? Turn on syslog&debug messages on SPA112 and catch them. Capture SIP packets related to call facing failing transfer as well. Those may help us to identify the cause. But may not - we may see "everything is correct, transfer has been successfully delivered to upstream, then call has been teared of by upstream".
