CUCM Automation - What are people using in the real world?
Title says it all... I posted this in the collab section, hoping to gain some new ideas here. I am interested in hearing what people are using in their environment and what has been the best RoI for the automation setup.
I have been digging into the CUCM AXL tool kit/SOAP/API area, but cannot find many companies leveraging these tools. Most of these setups seem achievable in the CUCM GUI or the BAT tool or a 3rd party apps like 2nd Nature of Kurmi for phone provisioning.
IMO alerting would be a powerful automation tool. Has anyone developed something like:
Triggered alarms > commands issued to clear (script run) > If resolved, close alarm > if not, open a ticket.
