Would like to point to a directory phone service and do a lookup on the E.164 Alternate number as opposed to the dn between clusters. So my question is two fold.
1) is there a way to point to another filed besides the telephone field for E.164 numbers

<Name>The name of the directory entry</Name>
<Telephone>The telephone number for the entry</Telephone>

2) would this mean adding the E.164 number to the AD ? or could i accomplish via polling from the cucm and expanding the already configured E.164 Alternate number Alias?
Using gpdr, I want the users to have a way of using the directory to call remote users.
