Jabber Guest for iOS SDK - iPad Air

Hi there

Is it correct that the iOS SDK is capable to be run on an iPad Air?

Following the instruction for the SDK, following is said under point 13

In the Valid Architectures section, only armv7 should be listed. If armv7s or arm64 is listed, or any other achitecture that is not armv7, remove it.

This explicitly removes iPad Air(arm64) support.

For our project we would like to use it with an iPad Air though.

Any suggestions?

Hi Cyril,

  I think it is compatible  If you see the Supported Mobile Devices "iPad Air" is there in the list and i belive it will be slow since 32 bit mode emulation is needed.

Ok I saw that as well. But if I follow the instructions I wouldn't be able to install the App on an iPad Air as I removed the support for it.

I would conclude then that someone should update the instructions!
