SandBox User account and CUP

Hi,

I have started looking "Cisco Jabber IMCore APIs Chat Sample" where is given

  • the username and password for two accounts on the Cisco Unified Presence Server.
    • If you are using the sandbox, the user names will be emailed to you.

Should i need to make a request, Please guide me.

If it will get emailed how long it will take. I have registered in sandbox site "https://devnetsandbox.cisco.com/RM/Topology""

Thank You

Hi Selvabharathi,

Have you run a automated tool from the new sandbox yet?

It should provide you one account to login to, I will create you another one and send to your email account.

Thanks,

Howard

Hi Ting-Hao Chen,

1. I have created log in account to SandBox site (https://devnetsandbox.cisco.com) is this the one you are referring "Have you run a automated tool from the new sandbox yet?" Please provide if i need to do any different

2 .In the below given sample DOMAIN & BOSH URL "httpBindingURL" should i need to use the same values or i will get them some where
var demo_config = {
domain: "psdtemea.cisco.com",
unsecureAllowed: true,
httpBindingURL: "http://cup02:7335/httpbinding"
}

3. How to "Connect to the Jabber shared sandbox VPN or to the network that is connected to your CUP server"
this is the instruction given on the sample

Thank You

Cheers,

Selva

Selva,

The VPN information should be the one that you've received from sandbox when you provisioned the Jabber web SDK account.

Regarding to the configuration, here are the correct one.

var demo_config = {

domain: "psdtemea.cisco.com",

unsecureAllowed: true,

httpBindingURL: "http://10.10.20.20:7335/httpbinding"

}

Please let me know if are still facing the problem

Howard

Thanks for your reply Howard,

Still am struggling there

1. Replace the configuration in the sample but given me the error “Could not connect: <stream:error xmlns:stream="http://etherx.jabber.org/streams"><xml-not-well-formed xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:xmpp-streams"/></stream:error>” in Chrome

2. Am not getting what you are referring here “VPN information should be the one that you've received from sandbox when you provisioned the Jabber web SDK account.”

· I have created an account in Cisco site is the one you are talking about, if so I have not got any VPN information. Also what I need to do with my VPN why I try to run my sample application

3. Along with new user account shared to access Sandbox I got “Assigned DN “ what is this for.

Am curious to have your help to get my first setup running so I could go further.

Looking for your guidance

Thank You
