Hallo,

I have got the username and password for the Jabber Sharedbox. When I try to login the following error appears in console

Error1.PNG.png

Also the debug section displays the following error

Error2.PNG.png

Can you tell me where I am going wrong since this is completely new to me.

Cheers,

Aditya

Hi Aditya,

Did you check if you were able to ping the IP? From the screenshot it looks like you are not in the VPN.

If you are able to ping, I could have been a problem of firewall blocking the port as well. The port used here is 7335

Thanks,

Howard

Note connecting to the Sandbox servers with the sample app requires that the PC be connected to the Sandbox lab via VPN.  From your error screenshot, the sample is attempting to contact http://cup02:7443/httpbinding - once you have connected to the Sandbox VPN, you can browse to that URL to check connectivity (you will see a message 'This URI is for XMPP communication via the BOSH protocol')

More details on Sandbox VPN access can be found here: https://developer.cisco.com/site/devnet/sandbox/comm-collab/shared-sandbox/

Hello dstaudt

I tried it but I am getting the same error. I guess might be the issue is coming up due firewall??

Cheers

Adi

Hi Aditya,

Could you please try IP instead of hostname?

Making sure you can ping this IP address: 10.10.20.9

And change the http://cup02:7335/httpbinding to http://10.10.20.9:7335/httpbinding

Regards,

Howard
