APIC-EM 1.0.1.30 connection loss

Hi @all,

I installed APIC-EM 1.0.1.30 in our LAB environment on VMWare 5.5. The installation has been working fine. After the first reboot I realized a connection loss one or two times within 5 minutes for about 30 seconds or sometimes longer. I checked network the network path, but everything looked fine. ARP-Entries, CAM-Entries and so on. During connection loss I realized no high utilization of the VM itself.

Any idea? Thanks a lot in advance.

Solved...

I used VMXNET NIC for this VM. I have changed to E1000 and reinstalled the whole Controller. After that, I still got connection issues. Installing VMWare Tools finally fixed the problem!!

A few days ago I have also installed VMWare Tools for VMXNET. Did not work for me!

So use E1000 NIC type, install VMWare Tools and you will be happy with APIC-EM on VMWare...
