MAC Address of users connected to ISRG2 switched ports.

Hi,

We have 2500 ISR G2 (800,1900,2900,3900) deployed over the country in remote places. Using the embedded switched / modular ports we are connecting directly some endpoints; we would like to monitor mac addresses of these devices. 

Unfortunately dot1.X is not an option.

What would be the best way to monitor this? Could APIC-EM help us in this task?

APIC-EM can find these hosts if they are running LLDP or you have ip device tracking configured on the ISR.
