Hi There,

With APIC-EM path trace, i keep getting error : More than one host obtained for hostip:X.X.X.X.

I am pretty sure there is no ip conflict in our environment,  Does anyone know where the error is from?.

the APIC-EM version is 1.2.0.1594

Cheers,

Guangming

If you look in the host table, is there more than one entry for x.x.x.x?

Adam

Thank you for your help Adam.

I do see multiple entry for same ip address. Please check screenshot below and you can see APIC-EM shows 172.16.64.90 and 172.16.68.91 are connected to switch53 and swtich54, but it’s wrong. They are actually connected to another switch. I couldn’t understand how it happened.

Also the topology generated by APIC-EM is totally wrong. Some switches are on different site, but the topology shows they are connected directly. How can I fix those issue?

Cheers,

This is strange.

What version of controller are you running?

Are you running CDP on the switches.

Do you want to try deleting the switches and rediscovering them again?
