There are some challenges in making the tool available externally. We will notify you, when it becomes available.

Hi Ajeet,

I've moved your question to the ACI community space.

Which part are you having trouble downloading? Which browser are you using? Have you tried logging in first?

Thanks,

Adrienne

Hi Adrienne,

The 3 last files are giving error.

Thanks

Can you please share the link to download Part 1 file.

Thanks.

Regards,

Thanga

Hi Thanga,

The downloads have been removed from the site until the activation key is made publicly available. In the meantime, you can reserve an ACI lab in the Sandbox - https://developer.cisco.com/site/aci/docs/resources/sandbox/

Thanks,

Adrienne

Hi Team,

Thank you for your prompt support, I have used IE, Mozila and Chrome to download PART 2, 3 4 but it's not working.

But I downloaded PART 1 without any issue.

Will wait for ACI team to resolve this problem.

BTW the activation portal is also not available, if you could pass on this info also to respective team then its great.

Regards,

Ajeet

Hi Team,

We can download all files now. Thanks you for Assistance.

But  http://git.insieme.local/secure/generateActivationToken.py or http://172.23.137.25/secure/generateActivationToken.py

don't work.

Please can you help me to run APIC Simulator Activation Token Generator?

Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you, I have downloaded the OVA files, Please let me know once you fix the key generator problem.

Regards,

Ajeet

Hi Adrienne,

Thank you for your response.

Please, can you give us the real link to run Activation Token Generator because git.insieme.local or 172.23.137.25 refer to private network.

I think that this is a private tool. In this case, can you give us the email address of the entity which can generate these activations tokens for us.

Regards,

Camille.

Hi,

Thanks for helping us. I checked, both the activation links are still not working.

Another problem, When I try to extract Part 2,3 & 4 using 7Zip, Its giving me error but Part1 I can extract successfully.

http://172.23.137.25/secure/generateActivationToken.py

http://git.insieme.local/secure/generateActivationToken.py

Regards,

Ajeet

Hi,

- Firstly, rename the files to

acisim-0.0-0.1a.ova.001

acisim-0.0-0.1a.ova.002

acisim-0.0-0.1a.ova.003

acisim-0.0-0.1a.ova.004

- Secondly, Open 7-Zip and go in the folder where thes files are found

- Lastly, Highlight acisim-0.0-0.1a.ova.001 file, Right click and select Combine.

Hi Team,

Need help to get a Key for ACI, the Key generator url is not working for me, Please check and help me.

http://git.insieme.local/secure/generateActivationToken.py or

http://172.23.137.25/secure/generateActivationToken.py

Ajeet

Hi Ajeet,

I'm not sure about this, but as a partner, can you VPN in to Cisco?  If not, then it looks like they have cut off external access to that url.  Cisco is now offering a simulator "appliance", which uses a different ISO download.  You should contact your Cisco rep about obtaining the appliance.

Dave

Hi Team,

Is it possible for you to generate an Activation Token for my key for below.

Please let me know if you could then I would share my key.

Regards,

Ajeet

Hi Ajeet,

If you can’t VPN in then it appears that Cisco has limited the software simulator to internal use only. Also, because the Activation Token is based on the Activation Challenge, which is derived from your IP and/or MAC, you cannot share that token.

I would suggest you contact your Cisco sales rep. and obtain the simulator appliance, which should be available externally.

Regards,

Dave
