Can't find file "OEMSETUP.INF" as described in the TAPI dev guide

When Installing the Cisco Unified TAPI for a third party software, we can't find any audio device to connect to. We use a Win7 plattform We used the the following dev guide:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/tapi_dev/10_5_2/CUCM_BK_TBFACF88_00_tapi-developer-guide-1052/CUCM_BK_TBFACF88_00_tapi-developer-guide-1052_chapter_0100.html

and tried to install both, Cisco Wave driver and media driver. and noticed that the "OEMSETUP.INF" is not present in a windows folder.

The described steps are under "Cisco Wave Driver for Windows 7"

Step 9 Click Browse and navigate to the Wave Drivers folder in the folder where the Cisco Unified Communication Manager TSP is installed. Step 10 Choose OEMSETUP.INF and click Open.

Hi Daniel,

The old wave driver is depricated. Please use the new driver described in the section :

We will open a documentation defect to remove sections which refer to old wave driver.

Regards,

Pradeep

Hi Pradeep,

Thanks for your feedback. But even when we use the Media driver, we can't a find an audiodevice in Windows (7).
Do you have any clue what could be the problem?

Best Regards

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

The new wave driver does not have separate audio device. The usage of new wave driver is described in

We can have a meeting if things are not still clear.

Pradeep
