Cisco Unified Communications Single Sign-On API

Have been following the steps detailed at https://developer.cisco.com/site/sso/ to setup SSO for a custom app for CUCM hooking into the user data services API. Step 2 calls for a third party SSO client ID. I unsure what this client ID is referring. We are using Microsoft ADFS, do I find this client ID within our ADFS instance somewhere?

Also the link https://developer.cisco.com/images/sso/sampleCode/sampleCode.zip to the code examples is broken. Is there an updated link?

Hello @briefcaseWank3r,

Thank you for reporting the broken link. I have alerted those responsible for maintaining the docs.

Please find the following resources to assist you:

  • The CUCM (CallManager) Maintain and Operate Guides include the SAML SSO Deployment Guides for Cisco Unified Communications Applications, for Releases 10-14

The docs have been updated with new link to the sample code on GitHub: https://github.com/CiscoDevNet/uc-sso-sample

The Client ID referred to is a hard-coded one that ships with CUCM and is intended for use with all 3rd party UC SSO apps.
