TAPI CallID in call parking on a CUCM cluster with several nodes

Hi,

in a CUCM cluster with 2 nodes when a call previously parked on node 1 is subsequently parked on node 2 we observed that the TAPI CallID has changed because the Call Manager ID has changed: the CallID was the same.

The question is: Is this always true?

Thanks.

Cristian

The dwCallId includes the CUCM node and call Id as bitmasked components - so yes, the overall dwCallId reported by TAPI will change (in this case of call park, only in the node Id portion) if the call processing node changes; however the specific call Id should remain the same.  See the first FAQ here for some details.
