Config archive failing for 3850 switches

Hello Cisco Community,

when I try to archive the config of a 3850 switch in Cisco Prime 3.1 I get partial success and  an error message: Error in archiving for device 'XXXXXXXXXX'

Is this related to the bug CSCuz89124? Has anyone else faced a similar problem and is there any solution?

Thank you very much!

Heres the link to device packs for 3.1 to download , there easy to install but important for Prime

Hi

have you tried upgrading any of the 3850s , I had an issue like this and upgrading the switches fixed it, my 3850s are running 3.6.6 MD

Hi and thank you for your answer!

The switches are new, just installed them. They are running 3.7.4E. Do you think an upgrade is necessary?

Well that image is fairly new so probably not we were on like 32 or something whe n we faced that  , do you have all the device packs installed in Prime up to the latest available  , you need them too,  our nx-os devices wouldn't register either until we added all the device packs

Hmmm, I don't know about the device packs. How can I check this out?
