Does this affect the Cisco Nexus 7000 as well. I have a similar case where I need to clear routes and things work. Am running 5.2.3a on Nexus 7000's
Any information in this regards would be useful.

This bug is specific to the Nexus 5000. If you have similar problems on a Nexus 7000, you may want to open a TAC case.
