Yes, it's a pain and so far no sign of a fix.

If you use Safenet then their client works OK for 2 factor, but for Cisco's own product not to work seems ridiculous.

I was told AC v4.7 fixed it. ETA 11/2018

Anyconnect 4.7.x went public today.   Issue not resolved in this version =(

I am getting the same issue on one ASA. I have another where this works fine. Only difference is that the ASAs software are on slightly different versions.

ASA #1: 9.6(4)18 *not working

ASA #2: 9.6(4)17 *working

Upgrading to AC 4.7 made no change still not working.
