Is the perceived volume of the recording notification BEEP a function of whatever device is actually playing it?  My thought is there may be an adjustment to be made outside of both CUCM&JabberClient...

By law I'm required to play the call recording beep for the caller. In CUCM 12.5 you can control the volume of the beep in the device settings. Jabber as a soft phone is missing this ability and the customers are complaining that the beep is too loud and the agents are complaining that the caller audio drops out when the beep plays. Other than turning off the service parameter for system wide recording, is there a way to lower the audio of the beep in Jabber?  In addition for the device settings the recording beep should only apply to the lines required to be recorded. It shouldn't be applied to every line programmed on the device.  Lines that are recorded are recorded for any device they may be assigned to, not record it on phone A but not on phone B.  The recording settings should be associated with the directory number and apply to any device assigned that number.
