Cisco Jabber Application logon error “Cannot sign in.” Cisco Bug CSCuz03027
If you encounter error as “Cannot sign in.” while logon to Cisco Jabber it may be hit with application bug CSCuz03027
On CUCM , go to end-user profile, under tab “Service Settings” click on Presence Viewer for User
You will get an error as "Error occurred while retrieving Presence information from IM and Presence Server"
Also you can observe 'Presence Service Assignment' shows as UNASSIGNED
You have to logon Game Changer/CUCDM and then in user profile follow steps as shown in in the picture
There will be ‘check box’ for “IM and Presence enable”
x/ Uncheck and then save. Wait for transaction to complete
x/ Check back and save. Wait for transaction to complete
Now when you check on end-user profile on CUCM you will get Presence Server Assignment with host name
That's it, you can ask end-user to test. It will logon successfully
