Hi all
Ran into this BUG: CSCvd16693 - Local Import Firmware bundle fails on UCSCentral 1.5 for C-series bundle due to filesize>1GB
Workarounds are:
1) Use remote download rather than local download
2) There is an additional workaround (please read TAC-Eng-notes from Enclosures)
3) Upgrade to UCS Central 2.0(1a) and on
Workaround #1 are not possible, since "remote download" do not work, on the customer UCS Central setup. Another Cisoc TAC case where raised on that issue, but where not able to be solved and a workaround where to use "local download" instead.
Workaround #2 do I not understand. What are "please read TAC-Eng-notes from Enclosures"???
Workaround #3 are possible, and we will go for that, if we dont get some help on what workaround #2 are.
Can anyone clarify on what workaround #2 are?
Best regards
/Jesper

Hi
Found out that workaround #2 (There is an additional workaround (please read TAC-Eng-notes from Enclosures) where to contact Cisco TAC, and let them enter debug mode, and edit a local UCS Central config file, to allow import files larger than 1 GB. Cisco TAC solved it in 30 min, and we where then able to upload a UCS C 3.2(3g) FW package.
Btw. Cisco have now changed the workaround(s) to:
Workaround:
Use remote download rather than local download
There is an additional workaround (please contact Cisco TAC for this)
New workaround #1 where not possible for us, since I somehow do not work as expected. We have also upgraded the UCS Central solution to version 2.0(1b) that works with larger FW/Catalog files.
