16.3.7  also having same problem Feb 28 19:22:25: %PLATFORM-4-ELEMENT_WARNING:Switch 1 R0/0: smand: 1/RP/0: Used Memory value 94% exceeds warning level 90%

Jun 10 15:39:23.745: %PLATFORM-3-ELEMENT_CRITICAL: Switch 2 R0/0: smand: 2/RP/0: Used Memory value 96% exceeds critical level 95%

We updated our stack at the beginning of 2020 to 16.9.4 and still have this issue.

Can you please tell me what you have done to remedy your situation?

Have you cleared the RAM with a reboot? If so, how long until your RAM was 90% full?

reboooting resolves the issue for a couple of days. We updated to another version, but I can not tell you which one at the moment cause I am writing from my mobile.

I checked our current running version:

DaCore01#sh version
Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 16.12.03a

Running this version fixed the problem.
