CSCvh60290 - CSPC - TEG Is Not Registered After Upgrades Causing Uploads To Fail - 3

Hi Cisco,

I have the same problem after upgrading to 2.7.3.1 from 2.7.2.5.

Upload fails with reason: The tail-end gateway is not registered yet.

Possibly due to CSCvh60290.

But. I also have a problem that I´m not able to replace the entitelment certificate in the collector. I downloaded the existing certificate from services.cisco.com, and tried to apply that.

And it fails with the following error message in the collector:

Failed to apply the registration certificate file or to apply service specific patches. Please check the logs.

I have not yet tried to generate a new entitlement certificate and try that.

Please advice if if should generate a new cerificate and try to register with that.

Hi User,

As you can see in the bug detail, that there is no workaround mentioned for given bug you mentioned in post but to answer you question on replacing certificate - I would say please try deleting certificate first and then try to upload certificate.
