CSCvp70717 - 3650 Power supply status is displayed incorrectly

We had the same issue with a 3650-48PQ-E switch.

In the related bug article, they speak about a cosmetic bug...in our case the switch wasn't supplying PoE to the end-devices.

 

As you can see in the attached pictures, the output of show power inline, displays n/a.

Hi,

 

I know this is an old post, but did anyone ever got a solution for this problem? We had the same issue on 16.12.x with a valuable customer and I am not willing to update the rest of the switches to the 16.12.x train, as long as it is not sure, that this bug is fixed.

We already have the problem with the power supplies being marked as "power bad" or "disabled" in the actual 16.9.8, but PoE is still provided. But  a few months ago we tested 16.12.4 I believe, and PoE was affected. So at the moment we stay at 16.9.x. We also had several TAC cases regarding this issue, but with no effect.

We use C3650-12X48UZ switches in the environment.
