Hi,
I am hoping someone from here will be able to help with the above.
I have been working in the industry as an 'IT Administrator' for 8 years and want to pursue my career as a 'Network Engineer' as this is where my passion and talent lies, I am CCNA and currently undergoing CCNP.
What I am asking is if anyone knows of any specialist recruiters for this sector? (I have tried 'theitjobboard')
So far the interviews I have been put forward for, are essentially positions for what I am already doing.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Most recruiters dont know the difference. I have worked with many and most of the time its someone in HR who doesn't know. I have only found that asking for a job description first before wasting your time. This really isn't what you asked, but there really isnt any difference in them. They all get paid on placing you. They dont care why or where. Make sure they actually have a position before doing any sort of interview with them. This another way the waste your time.

Thanks Jake I appreciate your input and will be sure to take the comments on board.
That is the exact problem I am experiencing, so it's good to know I am not alone. Do you have anyone in particular you would recommend from your venture?
The second problem I have had, which is both extremely rude and annoying is the agents not doing what they say they are going to, for example I was told on Friday I would be put forward for a position, I got a phone call phoned yesterday and some dates were put forward, agent then said he would phone later that day, which he never did, suffice to say I won't be entertaining that position any longer, this is just one example!
