Migrate from Cisco Prime 3.10 to Catalyst Center 2.3.7 using PDMT

Hi,

I am trying to migrate from Cisco Prime 3.10 to Cisco Catalyst Center 2.3.7 using the Prime Data Migration tool.  When I run the tool, during the wizard process, it gets stuck in the location selection and none of the locations are showing up. The error that throws up is "Not a valid migration, choose source and destination site.".

Any suggestions or recommendation is very much appreciated.

Thanks

Suresh

I can't find any mention of that error internally, so it would be good if you could work with TAC to troubleshoot.

Got it! Thanks, Preston.

Make sure you don't have any characters in the names that are not allowed in CatC. I've seen issues with PDMT when there are things like commas and such in the prime names. The other option is try and manually export the prime locations, then import them into CatC manually just to check them. Also make sure the version of PDMT your are using is marked as compatible with the Prime version and the CatC version you are moving too.
