SDA Layer 2 only address pool support in switch

Hi all,

Customer is recently upgraded the DNAC to 2.1.2.4, and encountered "Layer-2 only pool is supported only on IOS 16.12.5 and above. Upgrade lower version switches to IOS 16.12.5 or later to enable Layer-2 only pool'. 

Customer is using C9300/C9500 and wants to have layer 2 only without assigning IP pool.

On CCO, 9300/9500 has version up to 16.12.4 only, no 16.12.5. 

Compatibility guide recommends 17.3.2a, searched user guide but unable to confirm if in 17.x will support layer-2 pool only.

Does 17.3.2a contains the layer2 pool feature that Customer can use?

HI @kara 

Yes, Layer 2 only pool is supported with IOS-XE 17.3.2a, although I too couldn't find this in any documentation. I tested this recently on Cat 9300s without any issues.
