CSR1kv - License registration pending for long time

Hi

I have downloaded license token for CSR1000v and i have installed the license using the below step. 

CSR1000v-1#license smart register idtoken xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx force

I have saved the configuration and rebooted the device. But still im getting the below status of license

CSR1000v-1#sh license all
Smart Licensing Status
======================

Smart Licensing is ENABLED

Registration:
Status: UNREGISTERED - REGISTRATION PENDING
Export-Controlled Functionality: Not Allowed
Initial Registration: First Attempt Pending

License Authorization:
Status: No Licenses in Use

License Usage
==============

No licenses in use

It is showing "Registration Pending" for more than two days. Am i missing any other steps here. 

Please help me if someone knows this issue.

Is the smart call home CLI configured on your CSR?

Please make sure that your CSR can also reach the internet in order to establish and complete the license activation handshake with Cisco Smart Account server

I'm getting the same issue.  This is for a CSR 1000v in Microsoft Azure.  It has no particular restriction on outbound traffic, and I am able to connect to it over the Internet via SSH fine and can ping 8.8.8.8 ok.

How long might one expect this to take?

Any specific ways to troubleshoot this beyond checking the config is correct (I think it is, although Cisco's documentation uses examples that look wrong to me - I used the http keyword rather than the email keyword in the docs).

Here's my call-home config:

 profile "caid-iops"
 destination transport-method http
 no destination transport-method email
 destination address http https://tools.cisco.com/its/service/oddce/services/DDCEService

I have the exact same issue.  No problem reaching the internet.  What was the fix?
