On-Premise DC <---> AWS VPC

Hi All,

my goal to achieve is to preserve the ip addresses while working in hybrid mode with aws,

i want to migrate a vm from on-premise to aws and keep it's ip address.

i had setup a configuration where i have deployed a csr on premise and a csr on aws.

i have a vpn connection running in the background.

i have gone through documentation, my question is: besides a vpn which is also configured and running between sites, do i have to establish a vpn - ipsec between the csr's as well? (crypto ipsec).

should my subnets be identical on-premise and on aws vpc?

and advise would help.
