Change Boot Policy and Firmware Version for Service Profile using UCS PowerTool

I'm looking for the PowerTool syntax to modify both of these values on individual service profiles. The documentation behind most of these cmdlests is almosts non-existent.

I believe the boot policy may be able to be changed like this:

Set-UcsServiceProfile -BootPolicyName

As for the host firmware version under the policies tab of the SP... I have no idea what that cmdlet would be.

See attached images for examples.

Thanks in advance,

JD

The easiest way to find the proper PowerTool cmdlets for any function within UCSM is to use the ConvertTo-UcsCmdlet cmdlet.

1. Launch PowerTool from the start menu or the desktop icon.

2. Connect to a UCSM domain using Connect-Ucs <UCSM-IP>

3. After login, run Start-UcsGuiSession -LogAllXml to launch the UCSM GUI

4. After the GUI launches, run ConvertTo-UcsCmdlet in the PowerTool window

5. Perform the function(s) for which you want to see the PowerTool cmdlets

6. PowerTool output is printed to the PowerTool window.

BTW, for this to work properly, ensure you have the latest version of PowerTool.
