Folks,

I was told DNA vm cannot be run in private lab due to its huge RAM years ago. Now several years have passed. Does anyone know if  Cisco has small size trial version for our personal lab? thanks

Thanks. Its latest update. it still requires 256G RAM. but its ios/ova is not that big, why it needs such big RAM? we do not need full function, just very small parts is enough for lab.

Interfacedy,

The first iteration of the VM ESXi will be matching the 44-core physical appliance.

After that further sizes will be introduced to scale up and down. Still no details on that.

Regards.

We can download ios from cisdo "DNAC-witness-2.1.2.4.ova" what does "witness" mean? It only cost 2.6GB, why it need so much cpu and ram?
