How does the licenses work on DNA. Is it per device? Meaning I buy a DNA appliance then I buy a software license for that device. Or does it work on how many devices I have within my network? If I have 250 devices do I need to buy 250 licenses? That's the question I have.
You would need to purchase either DNA-Essentials or DNA-Advantage licenses for the network devices. Take a look at the following screenshot, it lists which DNA features are available per license level:
Thank you for that chart. Very helpful. I fully understand that when you buy a new device DNA subscription can be purchased. What happens if they have a Cisco device in a network and it doesn't have a DNA license? Can it be added via just purchasing a DNA license?
