Scheduled Reports In dna Center and email

Hello.

I would like to know if anyone knows of a way to get a report sent dy mail.

As of now I have to go in and download the report, attach it to a mail and send it to the person who needs it.

Due to the network structure we have excluded access for "all others" to log in to DNA-C.

Is there maby a 3. party tool to make and email the reports in?

During Covid-19 the administration has had a larger interest in client count in our buildings, and therefor what reports 2 times a day..

I hope someone has a solution to my problem.

Best regards

Hi @JensThullesen

The scheduling of reports with email notifications was introduced in DNAC version 1.3.1.X. See below link. The only downside here is that the email notification will only contain a link to the report which requires appropriate DNAC user permissions to download and view.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/cloud-systems-management/network-automation-and-management/dna-center-assurance/1-3-1-0/b_cisco_dna_assurance_1_3_1_0_ug/b_cisco_dna_assurance_1_3_1_0_chapter_010010.html

A more comprehensive reporting capability has been introduced in DNAC 2.1.2.0 which allows reports to be emailed as a link or attachment. See below for further details.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/cloud-systems-management/network-automation-and-management/dna-center-assurance/2-1-2/b_cisco_dna_assurance_2_1_2_ug/b_dnac_platform_ug_2_1_1_chapter_0110.html#id_132349

Just a note that I dont think that 2.1.2.0 is GA yet so you may need to work with your Cisco AM/SE team to find out when this will be available for download and testing.

Hope this helps
