Hello, partner supporting Federal here. Cisco released several 1-year DNA skus for Fed. C9407-1A, C9300-24P-1E, etc. Customer is not looking to deploy DNA anytime soon due to compliance, architectural standards etc. From reading the licensing models there are perpetual licenses Network ADV/Network Essentials and then subscription based C1 DNA ESS/DNA ADV. So here are my questions:
1. If the customer is only looking for the perpetual features of say Network Advantage how can they order Cat9000 switches without DNA subs?
2. If the customer is forced to purchases the 1 year DNA SKU what happens when that 1 year subscription expires?
Just some clarity and color would be helpful here.

>> As far is i know, you can't. Cat9000 comes always with DNA license (either 3,5,7 or in your case 1 year)
2. If the customer is forced to purchases the 1 year DNA SKU what happens when that 1 year subscription expires?
>> Your network will not stop working. All routing is perpetual licenses. If you deployed DNA, SDA, it will continue to work. However, you won't be able to make use of the automatic deployment & configuration that comes with DNA Center. It is back to CLI then (and that can be quiet challenging with SDA Fabric)
>> Note that some "non-critical" features, like streaming analytics also fall under DNA license and will stop working.
