Cisco Catalyst 9300 as WLC

Dear ALL,

We are designing the new network infrastructure for campus, we select to use the core switch is 1 x C9300, access layer switch is 12 x C3650 and the AP is 60 x AP3802 , 30 x AP1852 and 5 x AP1562 ...etc. Below is the questions.

1. Is it the C9300 can as Wirless LAN Controller?

2. If the C9300 can't as Wirless LAN Controller, Can provide the suggest model?

3. How many clients support connected to  AP3802, AP1852 and AP1562?

1. Is it the C9300 can as Wirless LAN Controller?

It can act as a WLC only if it is configured as part of the fabric of DNA

• C9800 Wireless Software Package can be enabled on Catalyst 9300 Series switches functioning as Fabric in a Box

3. How many clients support connected to AP3802, AP1852 and AP1562?

This depends on several things and I dont think it is related with the AP, seems a questions more related with the WLC. You can open a case with CISCO TAC to ask this.
