Cisco DNA Internal Services Subnet

Hi ,

We have previosly configured the internal services with certain IP address subnets, now we want to change it to the recommended Cisco subnets ( 169.254.32.0/20 and 169.254.48.0/20). Can we modify the subnet IPs without the need to reinstall the appliance?

PS: Our current DNA version is 2.1.2.6

Regards,

OJ

You can not change Service subnets (container and Cluster) without reimaging the appliance.

Thanks,

This is correct.  You cannot change the services subnets without re-imaging the appliance.  The same is true for changing the IP addresses associated with the cluster link itself.  All these are critical to how the appliance works, and they cannot be changed once the appliance has been deployed.  A re-image is required to change these.

After configuration of your Cisco DNA Center appliance is completed, you cannot assign a different subnet without first reimaging the appliance (see the "Reimage the Appliance" topic in the "Configure the Appliance" chapter for more information).

The link in the Post is for 1.2 release, is it still the same for the 2.x release?

Yes for 2.1.x as well, because these subnets are internally mapped with different services at the time of DNA Center installation.
