Hello guys

Good day.

We are looking to implement SD access in our environment.

I have 9200L switch in access layer and I was wondering that they will support SD Access & DNA center.

IOS 16.12.4 any License Network essential & DNA essential.

Cat 9200s are supported as fabric edge devices.  16.12.4 is also supported.  See here for complete compatibility matrix: Cisco Software-Defined Access Compatibility Matrix

As far as licensing essentials won't get you all of the supported features such as assurance.  See here: Cisco DNA Software for Switching - Licensing - Cisco

Here are additional helpful links: Cisco EN Validated Design and Deployment Guides - Cisco Community

Hi there,

To comment on the hardware support question: C9200L switches are supported for SD-Access according to the SDA compatibility matrix, however C9200L switches only support one VRF. This means you will be unable to support macro-segmentation in your fabric.

9200 series modular uplink models support four VRFs which will enable macro-segmentation.

Mike.Cifelli has already covered licensing well (essentials is quite limited).

You can support macro-segmentation with the 9200L, but the macro-segmentation separates the GRT from the user-defined VRF.
For SD-Access in terms of licensing, you need Advantage on the Catalyst 9000 Series switches.
