Claim Error

PnP Claim fails with message:

"The following devices (1 of 1) are not eligible for claim:
MDF is not supported for this PID"

Switch is WS-C3560CX-12PD-S / 15.2(4)E5 and DNAC version is 1.3.0.3

According to "Cisco DNA Center Supported Devices" PnP should be supported in this switch & os version.

Am I maybe missing something here?

Can you open a TAC case for this?   I *think* it should work, but also ask them to make sure DNA prints a more useful error message than that :)

Hi, did you get an answer from TAC? i am having the exact same issue on the exact same OS version, just want to verify if its a bug before upgrading a bunch of switches.

I have provided RCA file from DNAC to TAC as requested, now waiting...

Just to inform that this was assigned a bug id CSCvr01815:

"The root cause of the problem is that in 1.3 WS-C3560CX-12PD-S is marked as unsupported in an MDF file (which contains SysOIDs of the devices and their properties)"

 

This is now fixed in DNAC 1.3.1.0 (I have verified that pnp works with WS-C3560CX-12PD-S)
