Hi,
Is there a way to discover devices in an xml format or other?
I hear that it s possible via API, but not sure how to start.
The reason is that it will be easier to get all the devices one shot since we have them in excel sheet.
Thank you

You have a couple of options.
First, there is an "Import Inventory" feature in the Actions->Inventory menu of the Inventory page. You can download the sample csv file to see what columns need to be filled (at minimum cli and snmp credentials that match what's in your global Design->Network Settings->Design Credentials page in DNA), and then upload a csv file with those columns populated by however many rows you want; one per device. You can read more about it here: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/cloud-systems-management/network-automation-and-management/dna-center/1-3-1-0/user_guide/b_cisco_dna_center_ug_1_3_1_0/b_cisco_dna_center_ug_1_3_1_0_chapter_011.html#id_56709
It can be done via API too. There is also a "trigger discovery" section of this guide that you can almost just copy and paste to make use of: https://developer.cisco.com/docs/dna-center/#!discovery/get-discovered-devices
