hello,

my question is :

what is the procedure to replace a border node in case of hardware failure?

this question since part of the configuration is manual ( ibgp between border) and another is provisionned ("lan automation, ...)

thanks

IMO you should consider running dual EBNs and dual FRs. Essentially you would configure uplinks from your EBNs to each fusion router, and one link between EBNs. In your bgp config you would use max paths eibgp 2. In this type of scenario you would have multiple paths out, which gives you the ability to freely upgrade/replace/reboot an EBN or FR at any given time without service interruption. Good luck & HTH!

hello,

ok for the design and high availabilty but the question is :

in case of failure of a border ( hardware , RMA for the switch)

- push the saved config of the border on the new equipement
or
- discover the new equipement installed with a manual partial config and provisioning it by DNA after ?

thanks
