DNAC reaching scale limitation

Dear community,

I've got a question about DNAC scale limitation.

What happens when you reach DNAC scale limitations?

Is the limit increased when you have a cluster instead of a single DNAC?

DNAC forbids you to configure the extra items? DNAC allows you to configure those extra items with some stability risks created?

Let's say for a DN2-HW-APL you have 499 devices on a single site and you plan to deploy 2 new devices or you have 99 IP Pools on a single site and you plan to deploy new ones, what happens?

Thanks,

Sylvain.

This is need to plan in the begining of plan, how business grow maximum before DNAC put in place. always make it higher capacity if this is increasing, cluster of 3 nodes will give you more flexible.

Please refer to the following: Cisco DNA Center - Cisco DNA Center 2.1.2.4 Data Sheet - Cisco

Specifically the 'Appliance Scale' section to better understand scale & hardware specifications.  HTH!

Hi,

I've got an answer from Cisco:

No alert will be generated and most probably the network will be stable, BUT such situation was not officially tested and Cisco cannot guarantee anything. From the support perspective, the deployment becomes non-supported.

Sylvain.
