Running vs 1.3.3.6 DNAC and using the syslog feature in DNAC (Design>Network Settings>Network>Syslog).  Looks to be using port 514 by default.  Is there a way to change

So there are two items relating to Syslog:

  • Telemetry Settings (Syslog)
  • Destinations (Syslog)

These are different Syslog settings.  For the Telemetry Settings, you cannot change the protocol or port settings.  For the Destinations settings you can change the port# and protocol type in Cisco DNA Center versions 2.x but not in 1.3.3.x.

Also the Destination Syslog settings are for event notification endpoints.  These settings are not used for the Telemetry Settings (Syslog).

See here: System->Settings > External Services > Destination > Syslog.  Modify and test as needed.  Cheers!
