IPAM configuration issue

Anyone has some input for this issue ?

  1. Login DNA Center and navigate Setting tab -> IP Address Manager item
  2. Input server name, server url (http://<IPAM server>), username, password, select provider is GENERIC and click view combobox. Problem: the DNA Center send quest /ipam/token to IPAM server. The request isn't authenticated successfully. When I check the log, I see that the password was encoded, so the request is authenticated fail.

 

Expect: the password needs to be in cleartext otherwise the encoded string will be considered as password and that is the wrong password
