Since its inception, Cisco DNA Center has been a powerful network controller that scales network use, facilitates secure networks, and creates more efficient workflows. Working smarter and faster has always been its objective. And thanks in part to this vibrant community of users, Cisco engineers have been able to improve upon that original objective with a regular versioning cadence.

To continue evolving Cisco DNA Center, and to encourage an environment where users thrive on the latest and greatest versions of the solution, the curtain must come down on legacy versions. That’s why versions 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 of Cisco DNA Center will reach their Last Day of Support on July 31, 2022. After this date, these versions will no longer be repaired, and technical support will not be available to assist.

We are recommending that users on the aforementioned versions upgrade to Cisco DNA Center 2.2.3.4, which includes improvements like:

  • New 3D wireless mapping experience, network services analytics, and detailed wireless KPI reports
  • Smarter PoE analytics with 360° visibility, device app support and up to 300,000 endpoints
  • New policy analytics dashboard with spoofing detection and a granular trust score engine to enhance the zero-trust network solution

Cisco DNA Center 1.x versions pioneered network control – but it’s time to improve wireless, deliver smart buildings, and facilitate zero trust by upgrading Cisco DNA Center today. Learn more about upgrading best practices and key resources to assist in your Cisco DNA Center upgrade here.

If you have concerns about upgrading or require technical assistance, please go to our TAC support page or call 1-800-553-2447 to get help.
