Smart license for cisco 9200

Hi Guys,

I have one Cisco 9200 and smart license is not install on it.

I want to know what will be the impact on device if i doesnt install smart license.

License Usage:

 Operational? none. You are going to receive a lot of logs only. But, if you had some problem and get TAC to look, they might point this.

it says already in USE, show License summary or status give you information.

it works as long it was permiitted,

Actually currentlly they are in Use but may be in evaluation.

My query is if they got expired after evaluation, is there any impact on network/operation?

If they are not register in time, it fall back to basic level that essential License.

Afaik that is not correct. If using IOS-XE 17.3.2 and higher, SLUP is in place which does not include any service degradation on switches. Based on the Smart Licensing enable products list*, impact for Catalyst 9200 is "Normal functionality. syslog/alarm notifications."
