Intersight UCS-FI/NXOS-Troubleshooting: Feature Request?

HI all,

I wonder where I can find "NXOS"-logs of fabric-interconnects at intersight level.

Cisco LIve Session "BRKDCN-2086" mentions access to fabric-interconnects...
...using ssh!!!
...this of course requires access to local infrastructure => breaking the "concept of cloud management".

This week I was lucky to have the possibility to
(a) access to a local jump host,
(b) could ssh to the FI's and
(c) do "connect nxos" and "show logging logfile"
which was required to troubleshoot the device...
... which almost completely failed - but Intersight was showing "all fine - no alarms".

At least an "nxos alarm metric" visible at intersight - like "10 nxos critical alarms at fi-A per minute" is obviously required, access to the nxos-log should be technically possible.

I still hope, cisco didn't overlook this requirement but I'm the one not seeing "the nxos-log-elephant in the intersight-web-room"

Any idea?

We have a "Launch CLI" option for Fabric Interconnects in UCSM Domain. However, for FI's in IMM domains, this option is not available at present.

To access the FI Cli, we need to be local to connect using SSH and execute commands.

We can use "Collect Tech Support Bundle" option to collect the logs from the FI's and use that to investigate. The support bundle would be available under "System > Admin > Tech Support Bundles".

To request this functionality, kindly submit a feedback under Intersight GUI > In the Top navigation bar next to the user icon, click on "circle with a question mark" > click on "I have a Suggestion". This goes directly to the BU.
