I have successfully connected to my router remotely but would like to enter the interface of a connected device which is a DVR which is showing connected online in the router settings but offline on my App but needs reconfiguring via its local ip address 192.168. 

How can I log into the DVR via its local address remotely?

 If you are talking about packetTracer, attach your project here, zip it first.

I put the router together and assign an IP address for both. Let me know what you want to do next.

Just a tip, when you plug two router together, use Cross over cable otherwise the interfaces wont come up
